The article is the result of a research-training, inserted in a network investigation about instituting experiences of teacher training in Latin America, which aimed to theme and develop, through the Narrative Documentation of Pedagogical Experiences (DNEP), reading, writing, editing and publishing strategies of pedagogical narratives in initial teacher training. Since the 2000s, DNEP has been developed predominantly in the continuing education of teachers, with openness to ethical-methodological creations that can adapt it to different pedagogical territories.
